Fruits of the Harvest

This is one of my favorite parts of summer-fresh vegetables from Gramps' garden!! He grows a huge garden every year that provides our family with lots of fresh vegetables and such. Today he and my grandmother came to visit our kids and go to the coin show in Franklin. My grandfather is an avid coin collector. They do this fairly often. He drops Nannie by our house and she stays here to visit while he checks out the coins. Then he comes back, spends some time with Taylor and Jackson, and they go back to West TN. Today they brought cucumbers, peaches, dill pickles, bread and butter pickles and peach preserves. Yummy!!
This is a big week for Nannie and Gramps. They will celebrate their 57th wedding anniversary!! Wow! Gramps' birthday is on Wednesday, too. Happy Birthday Gramps! and Happy Anniversary to you both! We love you! Here are a couple more pics from today:
